La Spice and I got into a conversation with Going Somewhere a little while back about poetry, when we both admitted that we like writing poetry, but aren't that keen on reading it...
But when cooking dinner today, I listened (for the first time in ages) to 'Poetry Please' on Radio 4.
And realised that, although I'm not too interested in READING poetry, I quite like listening to it being read.

with whom I had a minor altercation about the timing of dinner.
It's just - he has such a judgemental way of clearing his throat..
OK. I admit that's REALLY petty ...
But it grates. When you've lived with it for 30 years.
